Do You Recognise Yourself in Any of These, Sister?

You don't have to say yes out loud. Just notice what your body does when you read these.

The Mind That Won't Switch Off

You lie awake at 2am replaying conversations that happened 6 months ago. Your mind races during Salah. You can't read a page without losing focus. You've tried meditation apps, breathing exercises, Dhikr — and your brain just talks over all of it.

The Heaviness That Sleep Won't Fix

You wake up exhausted. Not 'I need coffee' tired — a bone-deep heaviness that makes getting out of bed feel like climbing a mountain. You've had blood tests. Everything comes back 'normal.' But nothing about this feels normal.

The Anxiety That Lives in Your Body

Tight chest. Clenched jaw. Knotted stomach. Your body carries tension you can't explain to anyone. You've been told to 'just relax' so many times you want to scream. You CAN'T relax. That's the whole problem.

The Salah That Feels Empty

You stand for prayer and feel... nothing. You read Quran and the words bounce off. You make Dua and wonder if it's reaching the ceiling. The sweetness of Iman everyone talks about — you can't remember the last time you tasted it. And the guilt of admitting that is almost worse than the emptiness itself.

The Woman You Can't Find Anymore

You used to have energy. Opinions. Dreams. Now you go through the motions — the mother, the wife, the daughter, the employee — everyone gets a version of you. But the real you? She's been buried under years of everyone else's needs.

The Doctor Who Said 'You're Fine'

You KNOW something is wrong. You feel it every single day. But the blood tests are normal. The GP says 'try exercise' or 'here's some antidepressants.' Nobody is listening to what your body is actually trying to tell you.

The Cycle of Starting and Stopping

You've tried therapy. Self-help books. Islamic courses. Supplements. Lifestyle changes. Each time you feel hope — 'this will be the thing.' Each time the feeling fades within days. You're starting to believe nothing works for you specifically.

The Smile That Hides Everything

Nobody knows how much you're carrying. You say 'Alhamdulillah' when people ask. You hold it together in public. You cry in the bathroom. Or worse — you can't even cry anymore. You just feel... numb. And you're so tired of pretending.

If even ONE of these made your chest tighten or your eyes sting — keep reading, sister. There's a reason nothing has worked. And it's not the reason you think.

The Truth Nobody Has Told You

It's Not Your Iman. It's Not Your Willpower. It's Not a Character Flaw.

Everything you've been experiencing — the exhaustion, the anxiety, the disconnection, the heaviness — these are not signs that something is wrong with your faith. They are signs that your nervous system has been stuck in survival mode for so long that it's become your default state.

You haven't failed. You've been fighting a battle with 5% of your mind — your conscious willpower — against a pattern that lives in the other 95%. That's not a fair fight. And it was never one you could win alone.

Muslim woman in a sunlit garden with the Quranic verse 'I am near' (Quran 2:186)

وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

"And We send down of the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy for the believers."

— Surah Al-Isra 17:82

The Quran calls itself a Shifa — a healing, a cure, a medicine. You believe this. You KNOW this. So why do you read it and feel nothing? Not because the Quran isn't powerful. Not because you aren't worthy. Because right now, the Quran is reaching your conscious mind — the 5%. But the wound lives in the 95%. What if there was a way to open that door?

The Science Your Doctor Never Explained

You've Been Trying to Heal the 5% — While the Problem Lives in the 95%

Your conscious mind — the part that thinks, plans, worries, and tries to "fix" things — controls approximately 5% of your daily experience. The other 95% is your subconscious mind. It controls your emotions, your physical sensations, your automatic reactions, your beliefs about yourself, and even how your nervous system responds to stress.

Every approach you've tried — the willpower, the positive thinking, the self-help books, the talking therapy, even the extra Dhikr — all of it works on the 5%. It's like trying to change the direction of a river by moving the surface water with your hands.

What the Research Shows

Talk Therapy / Counselling

38%recovery

CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)

72%improvement

After 22+ sessions on average

Hypnotherapy

93%recovery

After 6 sessions on average

— Barrios, Alfred A. (2001). Comparative study of therapeutic approaches

This isn't about one approach being "better" than another. It's about ACCESS. Talk therapy works on the conscious mind. Hypnotherapy works on the subconscious — the 95% where the patterns, the pain, and the protection mechanisms actually live. When you access the subconscious, things that have been stuck for years begin to move in a single session.

In clinical neuroscience, we call them subconscious patterns. In the Quran, we know their source — the nafs. Your nafs builds the patterns. Your nafs holds the habits. And when you access the nafs through guided Islamic hypnotherapy, the patterns that have kept you stuck for years begin to shift — not in months, but in days.

Islamic Hypnotherapy

When the Quran Reaches the 95% — Everything Changes

Islamic hypnotherapy is not magic. It's not mystical. It's not anything your mind might be imagining right now.

It's a gentle, guided process that helps your conscious mind step aside — the way it does naturally every night between waking and sleep — so that the Quran, the Dhikr, and the healing can reach the subconscious mind directly. The place where the pain is stored. The place where the patterns live. The place where real change happens.

You remain fully aware. Fully in control. Fully yourself. You simply become deeply, deeply calm — and in that calm, the Quran becomes medicine instead of just words.

What Happens in a Session

  1. 01

    Grounding & Safety

    10 minutes

Your body settles. A gentle coherence breathing rhythm tells your nervous system: you are safe. Nothing happens until your body believes that.

  2. 02

    Guided Calm

    10 minutes

You're gently guided into a state of deep relaxation — a natural state your brain enters every day. Your overthinking mind steps aside. Not forced. Invited.

  3. 03

    Jannah Gardens Journey

    20 minutes

You're gently guided to walk through the gardens Allah promised — green rivers flowing beneath you, fruit trees heavy above you, gentle breezes carrying musk through the air. You feel the silk grass soft underfoot. You smell the air, sweet and clean. And echoing through the gardens, you hear it 31 times: 'Fabi-ayyi ala-i Rabbikuma tukaththiban' — 'Which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?' This visualization bypasses your conscious mind completely — delivering the healing of the Quran directly to your subconscious, the 95% where the patterns, the pain, and real change actually live.

  4. 04

    Release

    10 minutes

Your body begins to let go of what it's been holding. The tension. The weight. The emotions that have been locked in your muscles and your bones. Not forced. Not pushed. Just... released.

  5. 05

    Return & Integration

    10 minutes

You're guided gently back to full awareness. You open your eyes. And you feel something you might not have felt in a very long time. Quiet. Lightness. Space.

A Private, Sisters-Only Space

Every session is exclusively for Muslim women. No male practitioners. No mixed sessions. No compromise on your comfort, your modesty, or your safety. This is your space, sister. It was built for you.

I Tried To Feel Tired — And I Couldn't. That's When Everything Changed.

For years, I was the woman this page is written for. Exhausted in a way that sleep never fixed. A mind so frazzled I couldn't finish a sentence, let alone focus on Salah. Doctors told me I had ADHD. I believed them — because what else could explain the fog, the scattered thinking, the inability to be still in my own head?

I tried everything. Nutritional therapy. Talking therapy. Medication. Self-help books. Endless doctor appointments. Endless tests. Endless scrolling at 3am looking for answers to make it stop. Some of it helped on the surface. None of it reached the root.

Then I was guided toward hypnotherapy. And within 4 days, my ADHD was gone. Not managed. Not coped with. Gone. The frazzled mind — gone. The scattered thinking — gone. For the first time in my life, I had absolute clarity. And then my exhaustion — the bone-deep tiredness I had carried for years — completely lifted. I actually tried to feel tired, because that's how used to it I was. Being tired had become a habit. A subconscious pattern from the nafs. And when that pattern was shifted, the tiredness had nowhere to live.

I've worked with Muslim women for over 10 years — first in community work. Sisters would come to me with problems I could see clearly but had no solution for. The anxiety that food couldn't quiet. The exhaustion that vitamins couldn't fix. The emotional weight that talking only made heavier. I didn't have the tools. So I went and got them.

I trained in multiple modalities, hypnotherapy, NLP, neurosomatic coaching, trauma work and nervous system regulation. I studied the science — and then I filtered every piece of it through the Quran, through Islamic psychology, through the understanding that our unconscious patterns come from the nafs and our healing comes from Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ.

And then motherhood changed me completely. It taught me the one lesson I now teach every sister who comes to me — you cannot pour from an empty cup. Filling your own cup isn't selfish. It's the most necessary act of worship a woman can do.

The Muslim Ummah is struggling. We are one of the most unwell communities in the world right now — carrying trauma, anxiety, exhaustion, and spiritual disconnection at levels our grandparents never faced. The solutions we've been offered were never built for us.

This work is.

The Quran as the healing source. Clinical neuroscience as the delivery method. Your nervous system as the access point. Your subconscious as the destination.

My name is Touba Taha. I'm a Muslim woman. A mother. A practitioner. And I'm here for you, sister.

What Sisters Say About Working With Touba Taha

She made me feel comfortable throughout. I felt supported, safe, respected, and more confident after working with her. I would recommend her to anyone looking for kind and professional help.

— Javeria, Abu Dhabi 🇦🇪

The space felt safe and I consistently left feeling more settled than when I arrived. There was a natural honesty about when something needed a different kind of support — and that integrity matters. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a grounded, caring practitioner.
